SUDDO can also be played by four people - one person plays each colour. The rules are the same as for two players - selecting the order of play is important - the fairest way is for everyone to select a card from a full pack - the highest plays first etc.
The reason that the order is so important is shown in the following example.
If it is Red’s turn to play he will beat Green by putting 1 in the top left Red square and Green can then not stop him from subsequently placing his 4 and 7.
However if he does not spot this opportunity and allows Green to place 1 in Green top right, he will have thrown away the game.
If it is Green’s turn to play he can win by putting 1 in Green top right, blocking Red from placing his 1 anywhere in Red. Red could only complete his square by wasting turns on removing and replacing other numbers. Red cannot block Green from placing all of his remaining numbers.
Both the App and the Board game version of SUDDO will have methods to scramble the order of play for each turn so that the game is fair - but for the moment the fairest way is to draw cards at the beginning.
Both the Red and Green players need to insert 1, 4 and 7 in their remaining squares.
